I had a very disappointing and unsafe experience with Gerber Collision related to repairs on my vehicle after a wreck in December 2025. The original estimated completion time was about 25 days, but the repair process ended up taking until early April—several months later than expected. During and after the repair process, I experienced repeated serious issues with my vehicle that ultimately left me stranded multiple times. After initially picking up my car, I drove it to Chicago for school when it began overheating and I was left stranded on the side of the road in a major city, unable to safely get back to my lodging or home. I had to be late to my classes and manage a very stressful situation while being far from home. The vehicle was then inspected again and I was told various explanations, but the issue was not resolved. Shortly after returning home, I was stranded again locally in Springfield with my children in the car during hot weather conditions. The vehicle had to be towed to the Mercedes dealership, where it was discovered that a cooling fan wire had not been properly connected during repairs. had a great experience at Gerber Collision & Glass. The staff was friendly, professional, and kept me updated throughout the entire repair process. My vehicle was repaired quickly and looked amazing when I picked it up. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations, and they made the whole experience stress-free. I really appreciated their attention to detail and excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend Gerber to anyone needing auto body repairs and will return if I ever need their services again.

Dropped my Jeep off for repair on the paint. Upon pickup and inspection, I noticed a very small grey shade in the paint, my vehicle is Brilliant White. They checked it out, determined it was a flaw/error, corrected it without fuss, and delivered my vehicle to my house the next day to avoid me driving an hour again to pick it up. Very pleased with the experience overall.

Absolutely terrible experience. The truck has spent a month now, going on more, in the shop because they kept ordering the wrong parts and continue to do so. I was supposed to have it over a week ago and just finally picked it up yesterday with the supposedly right wheel to put on it, just to get all the way out to Chatham to find out they ordered the wrong wheel when I went to get it balanced and rotated, which at this point I'm 98% sure they already knew was the case. This review is not getting changed until you guys right your wrongs, plain and simple, and it will be going across all platforms. Countless calls on my end have led to no seriousness from your establishment and no resolutions.
